Can It Help Me?

When somebody comes into Osage Chiropractic, Dr. Corey explains what he’s looking for and how it could be related to any health conditions, pain symptoms or other concerns. He identifies spinal misalignments, or subluxations, by assessing if the joint is moving well and what body parts or systems can be affected if it’s not.

Subluxations can put tension on muscles and ligaments which can cause inflammation in the surrounding tissues. Subluxations can also irritate nerves which can lead to pain, muscle spasms or abnormal organ function. A thorough chiropractic examination provides the necessary data to determine what’s wrong, how to correct it, and what needs to happen to reduce the risk of it returning.

Restoring Balance with Focused Care

Your body is equipped with a unique ability to self-heal and self-regulate, if it's functioning properly. Traumas, whether past or present, or big or small, can prevent the body from functioning as it’s designed to do. Once corrected, your body can restore itself to optimal health using this self-healing and self-regulating system.

There are three phases of chiropractic care to achieve complete repair and restoration:

Phase 1: Relief Care
If you’re in pain when you come to our office, our primary goal is to reduce your discomfort.

Phase 2: Corrective Care
The corrective care phase allows more complete healing of muscles, tissues, and body processes.

Phase 3: Wellness Care
Once your body has fully healed, periodic adjustments are needed to reduce the risk of the problem returning.
